The Place

A Valley That Gives the Brand Its Reason to Exist

Panzhihua sits at the lower reaches of the Jinsha River in southwestern China, locked between mountains at an elevation of 1,000–1,500 metres. The valley's dry-hot microclimate — over 2,700 hours of annual sunshine, minimal rainfall during fruit development, and warm days with cool nights — creates conditions that exist nowhere else in China.

It is this geography that produces Keitt mangoes with exceptional sugar concentration, firm flesh, and a natural late-season ripening that no other Chinese growing region can replicate. Panzhihua accounts for 70% of China's Keitt mango cultivation area, with an annual yield of 200,000 metric tonnes. We source exclusively from here.

The Fruit

Why We Focus on Keitt Instead of Selling Everything

Most of the world's mangoes are harvested between March and July. Keitt mangoes from Panzhihua ripen between June and December — a window when Southeast Asian local supplies have ended and demand from importers, supermarket buyers, and gift distributors is actively seeking reliable sources.

Keitt is prized for its large fruit size (500g–1,250g per piece, two caliber grades), minimal fibre, and a clean, mildly sweet flavour that appeals to both retail consumers and food service buyers. Unlike earlier-season varieties, Keitt holds its quality in transit, making it well-suited for export by sea freight across the region.

Who We Are

A Small Team Built Around Consistent Export Work

Founded in 2014, Shine Mango is a Panzhihua-based export company with 12 years of direct B2B supply to importers, wholesale distributors, and supermarket procurement teams across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

We work directly with a network of partner farms in the Renhe and Miyi growing districts of Panzhihua — farmers who have cultivated Keitt mangoes for over two decades. Every batch we ship is pre-graded by size and weight, inspected for residue compliance against destination-market MRL standards, and documented with full phytosanitary and origin certification.

Our Growers

Grown with Joy, Harvested with Hope.

At Shine Mango, we are more than just an exporter — we are a community. Behind every premium mango is a farmer who has tended their orchard for decades. We work directly with grower families in Panzhihua who have cultivated Keitt mangoes for over 20 years, building relationships based on trust, fair pricing, and shared standards.

We are committed to improving the livelihoods of local farming families in Renhe and Miyi, providing stable purchase commitments and technical support that lets them focus on growing exceptional fruit. Every container we export carries not just premium mangoes, but the accumulated knowledge and care of the people who grow them.

"Our brand is named 'Shine' because of their smiles. When our farmers hold the golden fruit and laugh, that is the true sunshine we export."

What "Shine" Means to a Buyer

Three Things Our Name Stands For

High-altitude Panzhihua mango farm at 1,500m

Origin Specificity

"Shine" is not a brand construct — it is a physical property of fruit grown at elevation under 2,700 hours of sun. When you tell your buyers this mango comes from Panzhihua, you are citing a verifiable geography, not a marketing claim.

Supply Chain Depth

Our grower network in Renhe and Miyi has farmed Keitt mangoes for over two decades. That longevity means stable allocated volumes each season — fewer last-minute sourcing gaps, and a supplier who already knows what your container specs require.

Grading Consistency

Every carton is optically sorted by weight and size before sealing. GLOBALG.A.P. and ISO 9001:2015 certification means your QC team has documentation to audit — not just a verbal assurance — from harvest record to phytosanitary certificate.
